The plot thickens and the spelljammer confrontation rolls on...more next week! Meanwhile, I had a stimulating conversation last Thursday in Greytalk chat about alternate Oerths and whether an 'evil' mirror universe of Oerth (in this case I believe Uerth is that place) would have merely evil aligned versions of deities or maybe even mirrored portfolios. We already know there are evil versions of the quasi-deities from the latest Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk mod but does this extend to true deities? For example, Pelor would become the NE god of pain and night or would Hextor be the CG god of Peace and Uniting? It's a fun mental exercise in the least. The other possibility is that deities are unchanging across the Prime Material Plane and its multiple versions. This answer is probably more plausible since we know Mayaheine came from an alternate Oerth and was a paladin of the very same Pelor who brought her to the Flanaess. But someone sharply pointed out that Mayaheine might be the good FEMALE demigod opposite of Iuz! Now that is a mindblower! There was much more to the conversation but that's the topic in a nutshell.
